I’m Daniela, a creative soul born in the heart of Slovakia with a journey that weaves through history, art, and the pursuit of design.
My academic journey culminated in a Master’s in History and Theory of Arts. I was a curator throughout this program, managing projects and delivering compelling lectures on Slovakia’s historical monuments. This experience laid the foundation for research and exploring diverse perspectives.
My dedication to self-improvement led me to the Open University and various courses as I ventured into the dynamic design world. Design has been a constant companion, transitioning from theory to practical application.
Moving from Art Historian to UX/UI Designer, I’m pursuing Interaction Design & User Experience at Open University for a BSc (Honours) Combined STEM degree. I work full-time as a graphic designer at NatureBureau. I have freelanced on projects like LitterLotto and Onstats. I’ve also contributed to EHpermanent makeup’s website and LenkaCapo’s essential oils blog. Sharing my journey on Medium, I’ve also founded a Slovak & Czech community school in Andover, UK, and currently, I’m dedicated to a startup for women’s health.
